I'm Back... (Or, Upwards and Onwards)

There has, it must be admitted, a bit of a hiatus on this blog over the last few months, with some weeks going by with only a solitary 'Tuesday Prayer' post. And I barely even write those, choosing a choice quote to reflect on briefly. This has been because of the start of transitions (As mentioned last week); the beginning of the end of this Masters Degree, the beginning of a move, and the joy of two weeks of holiday interspersed with bits and bobs.

But, all that said, I'm back, and I've got some fun stuff lined up.

Over the next few weeks there will be a range of book reviews, some comment on current issues (belatedly, on euthanasia/assisted dying and related issues, and possible on the conflict in the Middle East), some more explanation of why I study what I do, the ministries I'm involved in, more 'Charismatic Clarity' posts, and a whole host of other stuff. I'll also share, I hope, a little about a new book and some other projects I've been working on. Watch this space.

Books I'm going to review are (as mentioned in my post about what I read over the summer holiday) by MacArthur and Kendall on the 'Strange Fire' fiasco, books on sex (including a couple on transgender and intersex issues), the atonement, Vineyard History, hermeneutics, pneumatology, ethics and a few more random ones.

Longer posts on justice, poverty, power, sex, disability, evangelicalism and discernment should also feature...

This is a brief post by way of saying 'hello', and I'd love you to keep reading and commenting and engaging as this blog gets back up to speed.
