The Aleph Bet Song

Today's posting of this little video is rather timely - as I've just started my Old Testament In Service Study Week at College, and whilst that is more a theological module than an exegetical module, it is quite nice to have this video kicking around.

* I DID NOT MAKE THIS VIDEO *

This video comes from a few of the guys who are part of Theology Network in Nottingham, and they made it because they wanted to learn their Hebrew alphabet, and help others to do so too. I've no idea how helpful it is, as I'm not a brilliant linguist, but I thought the tune was quite catchy, and I couldn't spot any hilarious mistakes when I went through it with my official Hebrew alphabet book.

So, without further ado, here is Nick, Joe and Jon's 'Alpeh Bet Song': enjoy!

If you'd like to find out more about Theology Network, visit the website. In other news, Joe is on Twitter! As is Theology Network, and myself.

  1. But obviously you will be learning Hebrew at some stage, to go with an Old Testament in Service module??

    1. Sort of. A bit. According to the Tutor it is a thematic-theological module rather than pure linguistic-exegetical. But will be using some. I hope.
