For a while now, I've loved being part of (occasionally sporadically, but mostly fairly consistently) the Tuesday Morning prayer meeting at my church. I go to the mens one, and its a great way to start the week/day, and to pray for what is going on in the life of the Church, and the wider city/world. As I've mentioned on this blog before, I also have been reading a lot about prayer in the past year or so, and so have amassed several thousands words of quotes and notes about prayer, from the 90+ books I've read on the subject.
So, the aim is to do a little series, hopefully for a long while yet, of little posts on prayer. Each week, on a Tuesday - all being well - I'll share a quote on prayer, or a prayer, that I've found helpful in my own understanding and walk with Jesus. Thats pretty much it.
I long for myself and anyone to really engage with prayer, and felt that this might be a way of doing so. I'm not for a minute claiming to have understood prayer, which is exactly why I'll be sharing quotes, thoughts and prayers from wiser men and women.
