I've reviewed a few other great books on prayer! I'd recommend Tom Wright's slim 'New Testament Prayer for Everyone', as well as Don Carson's excellent 'A Call to Spiritual Reformation'. For something slightly different, you might enjoy my review of David Hansen's 'A Long Wandering Prayer', which I have found very helpful for modelling a way of praying that is literally outside. For a bit of classic Anglican theology, you might also enjoy my post, 'Ryle on Prayer'.
