New Beginnings/I'm Back...

Evening world, its been a while...

I've not inflicted a new blog post on you for a while - because I've been busy getting married to the wonderful Amy, less busy enjoying a relaxing holiday with my new wife, and very busy moving into Nottingham. Its been fun learning how to build a home out of a house, how to relate to a wife, and reconnecting with Trent Vineyard, the Church that we are blessed to be a part of up here in Notts. Its been interesting 'cleaving' from 'home' - missing parents, families, friends and Churches that we have left behind for the moment. But this post isn't about that - its about the future, the next few months, and to update you on what to expect here on this blog.

First up, a name change, a facebook page, and a different style. I'll blog more about this soon, but just to warn you that, in line with my Twitter handle changing, I'm going to rename the blog, start a facebook page for it (to sort of get my account back for social media a bit!) and tweak the style. The content will remain the same, and it will still be me behind the scenes rambling and ranting.

Secondly, having graduated in July (woop!) I'm now (as is Amy) searching for Jobs. We both need to find a part time job in Notts for three days a week - to run parallel with us taking part in Trent's Discipleship Year, a year-long course at our church that runs for two other days, plus sundays, each week. It will be exciting to get stuck into learning and serving the church, and we are both excited to see what will happen. 

Thirdly, this corner of the internet. Not much is going to change - though I'm afraid there will be a backlog of book reviews to grind through (I stopped blogging but increased my reading!), and also some engagement with some gems from John Wimber, who I've been reading over the summer and am challenged by in big ways. The first of these should go live very soon. I'll also be blogging randomly through other things - and would love to take requests!
